BMW Enthusiast Test Drives Brand's Three New, More-Efficient Engines

Jason Harper, a writer and car enthusiast, may have one of the best gigs around.  Recently, while representing Bloomberg, Harper had the chance to try out three different new BMW vehicles, each one showcasing the brand's recent foray into greener, more efficient engines.  Today we'd like to share his findings with our blog readers in the Rexburg, Pocatello, Shelley, and Butte, MT areas.

Harper tested the following eco-friendly vehicles:

  1. The BMW X1, which is the brand's most compact SUV and has a four-cylinder engine
  2. A diesel-powered version of the automaker's most popular sedan, the BMW 3-Series
  3. An unnamed vehicle with a new three-cylinder engine that will most likely find its way under the hood of a future version of the BMW i8 hybrid sports car

After spending a lot of time between the wheel of each vehicle, Harper concluded that the German luxury brand is committed to creating fuel-efficient vehicles that still pack the power and performance that you'll find in the BMW of Idaho Falls showroom today.

If you have any questions about the eco-friendly direction in which the company is moving, or want to chat about a specific model that you've been eying, don't hesitate to call us or stop by our showroom during regular business hours.  Our sales phone number is (208) 529-4269 and we're conveniently located at 760 Northgate Mile Idaho Falls, ID 83401.  We look forward to hearing from you soon.
